We are so excited that our wedding venue, The Dunbar House Inn, is located in the center of downtown Murphys, just off Main Street and only a few steps away from everything the town has to offer - including more than two dozen wineries showcasing the finest wines from many of the local award-winning vineyards!
As a cozy mountain town, lodging in Murphys primarily consists of vacation rentals, Airbnbs, and a handful of smaller hotels, all conveniently located within close proximity to Dunbar House and many just a short stroll away from bustling Main Street.

Driving
From Portland, OR
From our home in Portland, it’s roughly 11-12 hours driving to Murphys. We’ve done the trip ourselves and broke it up into to two days staying the night in Redding, CA. It’s mostly freeway driving (I5) until your past Sacramento.
From the East Bay Area, CA
Taking Highway 4 is the simplest route to get you from the East bay to Murphys in one straight shot.
From Reno, NV
Though the quickest route is taking US 395 to CA-4, the winding road and tight shoulders makes it a tougher drive. For a simpler route take I-80 to Sacramento and follow the same directions from the Airport.
